Amazing food! This is a new restaurant in the same location as the old Chinese restaurant. The food, presentation wait staff and price are perfect. I've been there 3 times since they have opened and the food is consistent. If you didn't know, the "Popular Entrees" are available in lunch sizes and you get rice and an egg roll. You can substitute the rice for fried. Make sure you order the egg rolls. They are AMAZING and their fish sauce is on par to being perfect. Enjoy this place. The only drawback is that there isn't much seating so watch out for the busy times. We have NOT run into a time where there wasn't seating but with food like this, PhoViet 45 will get discovered and enjoyed my many.
I am absolutely obsessed with the Pork Bahn Mi at Pho Viet 45! Even though I live hours away now, any time I'm remotely close to them, I have to order at least 2-3 sandwiches—one for my immediate cravings and the rest for my next few meals! The portion size is perfect; I can usually only finish half at a time. Let me tell you about their chili oil—it's a game-changer! It packs some serious heat, but the flavors are so incredible that I find myself dipping each bite of my sandwich into it without hesitation. What might seem like a simple sandwich is far from it—let me walk you through a magical bite: the bread is perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Your taste buds are then treated to the fresh burst of pickled carrots, cilantro, jalapeno, crunchy cucumber, savory marinated pork, and a delicious sauce that, when mixed with the chili oil, brings tears of happiness to my eyes. (no really, its kinda embarrassing lol) I'm an incredibly picky eater, and I mean incredibly, but there isn't a single flaw in this Pork Bahn Mi. It's reasonably priced, but honestly, I would pay anything to get my hands on one of these sandwiches! Pho Viet 45 has captured the essence of Vietnamese cuisine and turned it into something truly exceptional with their Pork Bahn Mi. If you're ever near their restaurant, do yourself a favor and indulge in this culinary masterpiece—you won't regret it!
I’m very happy to have this place around! We don’t live near much for great pho joints, so we were very excited to find this place offers a great bowl of pho. The egg rolls and fried pork dumplings were also just what we wanted. To top it off, the service was quick and friendly. I certainly hope to be back and try some other dishes.
I tried out Pho Viet 45 with my brothers before heading over to the Forum across the street. Fantastic food! Huge portion sizes. I had the chicken lo mein and loved it. Great service as well (fast and friendly), and good pricing. I will be back
Wow are we lucky to have a place nearby us like this! Bahn me hit all marks! Pho had deep rich flavor, and homemade egg rolls are made fresh! Very fair portions, top notch service. Interior is dated, and they need new windows to help hold the heat. But you don’t come for that, you come for the food! Easy 5 stars!
First time customer today. Ordered pick-up for 6 people, 125. LOTS of food, enough for a full meal for 6 tomorrow. Much better than other local Asian restaurants (Watertown, Waconia). All the food was less salty than the other places too, and tasted more homemade. No disappointments, A - Thanks!
The best Vietnamese food in the west Metro! I’ve been here about 10 times and they never disappoint. I dare to say their banh mi is way way better than Lu’s Sandwiches in Minneapolis. I also highly recommend an iced coffee- it’s very rich and flavorful, but be careful if you’re caffeine sensitive as it is very strong. Today, I had the chicken with Thai sauce and my taste buds rejoiced. They have sides of hot chili oil I drizzled on top, and the oil is actually very spicy and has a great flavor! It’s so rare to find great chili oil like that. They were extremely busy tonight and were short-staffed, so the wait time was a while for my to-go order, but the food is so worth it. Be kind to them and be patient because they are putting out great food despite it being crazy busy.
Best cream cheese wontons in the Metro. Worth going here just for the wontons that are made when you order. Other reviews I have made for Pho Viet 45 praise the pho.
